MARINE CARGO
CWH & Co undertake a great range of Marine Cargo surveys, including but not limited to the following.
DRY CARGO SURVEYS

These surveys not only include physical and wet damage to the cargo but also investigation into shortage, theft, infestation and any other marine peril.
PRE-SHIPMENT SURVEYS
- Loading
- Stowage and Securing
This include advice and expertise in load procedure for timber and sheet materials as well as frozen cargo, particularly stowage and Quality Assurance measures on fish.
TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED CARGO SURVEYS
Fresh and frozen produce, to include
- Fish
- Meat and Meat Products
- Fruit
- Vegetables
- All other foodstuffs etc
- Pharmaceutical Products
- Flowers
Such surveys would again encompass not only physical damage, temperature problems but also to include analysis of fridge reports to determine causation.
Currently a considerable amount of work is being undertaken in connection with clandestine entry into refrigerated cargoes and arranging sorting, disposal in close liaison with the major importers of such produce and the relevant Environmental Health Authorities.
INVESTIGATIONS
CWH & Co are at the forefront of investigations into cargo losses and have a former serving police officer on the surveying staff.
Such investigations cover all aspects of theft including mis-delivery.
PARTICULAR AVERAGE ADJUSTMENT
The company undertakes PA adjustments for certain marine accounts.
