Bob is the former Senior Managing Partner at CWH, with over 40 years of experience in conducting surveys and investigations across all forms of dry cargo, temperature-controlled goods, and containers/equipment.
He has a particular expertise in timber, sheet materials, and forest products, having studied wood science at High Wycombe College of Technology. Over the years, Bob has travelled extensively in this field, handling claims and providing risk management advice. He has also served as an expert witness.
Bob is heavily involved in claims relating to goods in transit, as well as freight forwarders’ and warehouse keepers’ liability. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters and served on the committee of the British Association of Cargo Surveyors for ten years, contributing to the updating of the current Lloyd’s Survey Handbook.
