Richard Fawkes

Richard has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. He began his career at a local insurance broker, selling and advising on a variety of business lines, before moving to an international insurer where he handled a wide range of claims, including motor own damage, third party, personal injury, and household claims.  

In 2004, Richard joined a freight liability and marine cargo loss adjusting firm as a junior adjuster, later gaining further experience at a multinational loss adjusting company. He joined CWH in 2019 to lead our newly established Leeds office and brings extensive expertise in all aspects of freight liability and cargo claims across a broad range of commodities.  

Richard is an Associate Member of the British Association of Cargo Surveyors and is based in our Leeds office.
