Following the recent appointments of Andy Wilson and Michael McCourt, Billy is the latest addition to our growing team of experienced marine and cargo professionals. As with any strong team, we are always looking to build on our established foundations by bringing in new talent, expertise and fresh perspectives - and we are delighted to have Billy on board.
Billy brings over seven years of diverse industry experience, spanning cargo inspection, marine surveying, P&I consultancy and investigation. His background includes extensive experience with oil, gas, chemical and grain cargoes, as well as marine and cargo surveys, vessel and dock damage investigations, heavy lift and project cargo, and P&I matters.
He has particular expertise in liquid and gas cargoes, alongside broad experience across dry and containerised cargoes, vessel damage and port infrastructure. This breadth of practical experience will further strengthen CWH’s capabilities across marine cargo and freight liability.
Billy will be based from our Leeds/North East office, further strengthening our presence across the North of England and enhancing our ability to provide responsive, locally based support to clients and Principals throughout the region and beyond.
His appointment comes as part of CWH’s continued investment in our people and regional presence. With experienced professionals now positioned across our UK offices, we are continuing to build a team capable of delivering the specialist, independent and responsive service our clients expect.
